"Rivers of Joy" is a dance-pop song recorded by German pop group No Angels. It was written by Swedish composers Hans Andersson and Niklas Pettersson and produced by Peter Ries for the band's debut studio album, "Elle'ments" (2001). The gospel music-inspired song was released as the album's second single on April 30, 2001 (see 2001 in music) in German-speaking Europe, where it peaked at number 7 in Germany, and number 10 in Switzerland.

Music video

The music video for "Rivers of Joy" was the band's second video to be directed by Robert Bröllochs. Just as the No Angels' debut single "Daylight in Your Eyes" scenes were primarily filmed inside the X-Sight-Studios in Groß-Gerau, Hesse in March 2001. While most of the video was shot in front of a white background, the video includes several computer animations based on bluescreen technique.

The video is relatively plotless, focusing on dance choreographies and designs instead of a definite storyline. It begins with the girls as marble statues, awakening to life in a notional museum of art. They start dancing and singing, and call several animal statues such as lions and elephants into being.

The video for "Rivers of Joy" premiered in April 2001 on MTV Central's show "Brand:Neu".
