"Baby I Don't Care" is a pop/rock song from UK band Transvision Vamp. It was taken from their second album Velveteen and was released in 1989. The song is Transvision Vamp's most well known song as it was their most popular and also highest selling and charting single. The song peaked at number 3 in both the UK and Australia, and was also number 25 in the Australian End Of Year Singles Chart for 1989. The Guitar riff is based on The Sonics version of Louie Louie, with Wendy James scream modelled on Jerry Roslie's.
