Weir, Lancashire

Weir is a small village situated in Rossendale, about a mile (2 km) north of Bacup. The village is on the A671 and has one shop (the top shop) and a pub (the Weir Hotel). Weir also has a park which is slanted, and the lodges, which are three reservoirs that you are able to fish in.fact|date=September 2008

Notable residents of the village include Michael Carr, a Liberal Democrat politician and former Member of Parliament for the Ribble Valley.
