Kormilda College

Kormilda College is a coeducational secondary school in the Northern Territory of Australia, run under the auspices of the Anglican Church and the Uniting Church, although students of all religions are accepted.

The school was established by the Northern Territory Government in 1967, as a boarding school for Aboriginal students, however in 1989 the school was privatised, and it began enrolling day students and boarding students of all races. The school is currently open to students from Years 7 to 12 (prior to 2004 only students in grades 8 to 12 were accepted). Kormilda College has offered the International Baccalaureate Diploma to students in Years 11 and 12 since 1990. The College also offers the Northern Territory Certificate of Education. As of 2008, over 1000 students are enrolled at the college. In 2008 a new Vocational Education and Training Centre is under construction that will expand course availability in 2009. Kormilda is an internationally accredited school (CIS).
