Notes

*This work was not only the composer Minkus' last score for the Imperial Ballet (he retired to Vienna not long after its premiere) but his last known composition, and was hailed as a masterwork of ballet music by the balletomanes and critics of the day.

*The "Variation of Draginiatza" from the second Act of this ballet is today performed in the celebrated "Paquita Grand Pas Classique". It is the only part of the score to still be heard in performance.
