Camp Ranger

Camp Ranger

Camp Ranger was a summer sleepaway camp on Silver Lake in Bethel, New York in Sullivan County. (Other camps on Silver Lake include(d) Camp Ma-Ho-Ge, Camp Hillel and Camp Chipinaw). Prior to 1967 camp Hillel was camp Ge Wahna. The official Camp colors were Gray and Red. The camp operated from the 1926 to 1982. Camp Ranger is now Camp Avraham Chaim Heller, a religious camp for Orthodox Jewish boys.
