Institute for the Protection and the Security of the Citizen

The Institute for the Protection and the Security of the Citizen or IPSC, located in Ispra, Italy, is one of the seven institutes of the Joint Research Centre (JRC), a Directorate-General of the European Commission (EC).

The Institute for the Protection and the Security of the Citizen provides research-based, systems-oriented support to European Union policies so as to protect the European citizens against economic and technological risks.
