Awais Leghari

Awais Ahmad Khan Leghari (born on 22 March 1971), or Owais Leghari, or Awais Ashraf, is the former Federal Minister for Information Technology of the Government of Pakistan.[1] Leghari comes from a feudal political family of Dera Ghazi Khan, Punjab. He is the son of Farooq Leghari former President of Pakistan. Awais Leghari is the member of Leghari tribe. He defeated PPP & PML(N) candidates in bye-elections held on 29-Mar-11 by huge margin.He was able to secure 60 thousand+ votes in election.

He joined Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf in November 2011 along with 15 other Politicians.
