The Bogmen were an indie rock band from Huntington, Long Island, New York. The band was formed in 1993 by Billy Campion, Bill Ryan, Brendan Ryan, Mark Wike, P.J. O'Connor and Clive Tucker. Though they were signed by major label Arista Records in 1995, they fell just short of mainstream success. Despite breaking up in 1999, they have reunited several times in order to raise money for charity, and have produced a DVD.

Life Begins at 40 Million

Produced by Jerry Harrison of the Talking Heads, "Life Begins at 40 Million", was by far the more commercially successful of the two Bogmen albums. The most successful single off their album, "Suddenly" was even featured on MTV. It can be found today most easily on YouTube [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BysvnYaYrxk] . It Tastes Just Like It Smells

It Tastes Just Like It Smells is a documentary detailing the origins of the Bogmen created by photographer/videographer Chris Cassidy (who has also directed many of former band-member Vic Thrill's videos) and B.A. Miale, a video artist who currently VJ's Vic Thrill's live shows.
