Western Bahr el Ghazal ( _ar. غرب بحر الغزال Gharb Bahr al-Ghazal) is one of the 26 wilayat or states of Sudan. It has an area of convert|93900|km2|sqmi|lk=on|abbr=on|0 and is part of the Bahr el Ghazal region. Western Bahr el Ghazal is divided into three counties: Raja, Jur River, and Wau County. Wau is the capital of the state. Mark Nyipuoch is the Governor.
