Warrap (state)

Warrap ( _ar. واراب) is one of the 26 wilayat or states of Sudan. It has an area of 31,027 km² and a population estimated in 2006 at 1,000,000. Warrap is the capital of the state, but will be changed to Kuajok pending final decision.

The state is home to Rek subtribe of the larger Dinka tribe. The main city is Tonj.
