Rory Best (born 15 August 1982) from Poyntzpass is an Irish rugby union footballer. He plays hooker for Ulster. Rory is the brother of Ireland and Ulster prop Simon Best. He was educated at Portadown College. He made his Ireland debut against the All-Blacks at Lansdowne Road in November 2005. He was appointed captain of Ulster for the 07/08 season in place of his brother Simon.
