Eleanor (book)

"Eleanor" (1996) is a biography of Eleanor Roosevelt's childhood, describing her as a shy girl who goes on to do great things. The author, Barbara Cooney, spent three years researching the historical facts. Cooney said she thought that "Eleanor" is the nicest book I've ever written." The book was adapted into an audiobook.
