Jerry Birn

Jerry Birn (1923 – December 5, 2009)^[1] was an American television soap opera writer. He was married to actress Patty Weaver from 1994 until his death aged 86; his daughter is Laura Bryan Birn.^[2]

Both his wife and his daughter appeared on The Young and the Restless. Birn's wife has a recurring role as Gina Roma (Danny Romalotti's older sister) and his daughter played Lynne Bassett (Paul Williams' secretary from 1988 to 2004.
