Kiyosu, Aichi

nihongo|Kiyosu|清須市|Kiyosu-shi is a city located in Aichi, Japan.

On July 7, 2005 the towns of Kiyosu, Shinkawa and Nishibiwajima merged to form the new city of Kiyosu.

As of April 1, 2006, the city had a population of 55,592. The total area is 13.31km².

Home to the Kiyosu Castle, rebuilt in 1989.

On October 1, 2009, Haruhi, Nishikasugai District will merge into Kiyosu. This will leave Nishikasugai District with one municipality.http://www.kokudo.or.jp/new/cities/sub/chubu/23.htm]
