The 1868 English cricket season featured the tour by the team of Australian Aboriginals.

Events

CA Absolom became the first player to be given out obstructing the field when playing for Cambridge University v. Surrey at the Oval.

A team of Australian Aboriginals was the first overseas side to tour England. They were not a first class team.

Harry Jupp was the leading runscorer with 965 @ 24.74

Leading bowlers

James Southerton was the leading wicket-taker with 150 @ 13.86
