The Gdańsk University of Technology (pol. "Politechnika Gdańska") - is a technical university located in Gdańsk-Wrzeszcz, Poland. The university was founded in 1904 by the German Empire as Königliche Technische Hochschule zu Danzig. It was turned into a Polish university in 1945 after all Germans were expelled.
Current rector of the university is Janusz Rachoń.
In 1995 Wirtualna Polska was founded here and the office of the company is still located in one of the former campus canteens.
