South Carolina ,United States . It is located eleven miles from downtown Columbia and is part of the Columbia Metropolitan Statistical Area.Attractions
Hopkins is also home to one of South Carolina's many National Parks,
Congaree National Park . Located in the heart of Hopkins on Bluff Road. The Congaree National Park has contiguously preserved the largest tract of old-growth bottomland hardwood forest in the United States, and contains one of the tallest deciduous forests in the world. It has convert|27000|acre|km2|-1|sing=on of land and water. The National Park was made to be an international Biosphere a Globally Important Bird Area, and a Nation Natural Landmark.
