"Bleed the Freak" is the second single by the American metal group Alice in Chains from their first album "Facelift". The song follows three of the groups most popular songs at track #4 but has held its own as a definitive track by the band.

The song has been released 3 times in 3 different ways. The first being the "Facelift" version, the next being a demo from the Alice in Chains box set "Music Bank" and the final being from their "Live" album in 2000. It was the first single from "Facelift", and in 2006 was played frequently as an opener for shows.

Leading up to the release of the "Live" album, a video of a 1990 performance of the song at The Moore in Seattle was shown as a music video for it.
