Ego-Wrappin'

EGO-WRAPPIN is a Japanese J-Jazz band which formed in Osaka, Japan in 1996. They are signed to Universal Music Japan. The band primarily consists of two main members, Yoshie Nakano as the vocalist/songwriter and Masaki Mori as the guitarist/songwriter. Nakano is known for a deep and "soulful" voice, which fits their mainly jazzy style of music. Ego-Wrappin's music is mostly influenced by jazz, often featuring traditional jazz band instrumentation, including a double bass and horns section. However, their music also integrates many different styles such as rock, raggae, or pop. Ego-Wrappin' hit the major scene with “色彩のブルース” (shikisai no BLUES, or Midnight Dejavu).
