William S. Spears School of Business

The William S. Spears School of Business (or SSB ) serves as the business component of OSU-Stillwater in Stillwater, Oklahoma. The Spears School of Business was originally created in 1904 and is composed of six academic departments with more than 100 tenure and tenure-track educational professionals. The school's student body is made up of more than 3,900 undergraduates pursuing 15 degree fields with approximately 800 students six master's degree programs. The school also offers Ph.D.s in business administration and in economics. The school was renamed after William S. Spears, a 1962 Oklahoma State graduate, following his multi-million dollar donation to the school in 2004.

Academic programs at the Spears School of Business have been accredited by the AACSB International (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) since 1958; meeting or exceeding established standards for business schools internationally.
