Danielle Egnew is a psychic, musician, actress, media personality, and activist known in the areas of music, film, radio and television for both performing and producing in all four genres. Born in Billings, Montana on February 28, 1969, Danielle Egnew currently resides in Los Angeles1.

Danielle Egnew is recognized in the United States, Canada, Mexico, the United Kingdom, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand for her work in the spiritual and metaphysical fields as a Clairvoyant Channel, Paranormal Investigator, and Healer. She is alleged to have successfully assisted law enforcement on cold case profiles, as documented on TV pilot Missing Peace. In 2006 Danielle Egnew co-founded the paranormal investigation group, The Western Pacific Paranormal Alliance and launched the paranormal website Haunted Playground3. Her great great grandmother being Cherokee, Danielle claims to inherit her psychic ability through family lineage, citing a cousin during numerous interviews who also claims to experience extra-sensory perception, and a grandfather who claimed to see "death masks"2, a paranormal phenomenon that allegedly occurs prior to a person's death.

At the age of three, Danielle claims to have witnessed a deceased aunt, with whom she was never acquainted, the aunt having died prior to Danielle's birth. She claims to have experienced paranormal occurrences all throughout her childhood, and in 1985, at the age of 15, Danielle allegedly experienced the collapse of the World Trade Centers while on the observation floor in the North Tower. Distraught, she recounts grabbing a railing, reporting the sensation of the floor dropping out from beneath her feet.1,2

A licensed minister and former Christian pastor2, Danielle Egnew acts as a media activist through radio, television and film in an attempt to bring understanding and education to the public on the subjects of clairvoyance, clairsentience, channeling, psychometry, telepathy, mediumship, and many other paranormal and spiritual subjects1,2,3,13,14,18. Though she is alleged to utilize many spiritual aptitudes, she is widely known by film and radio audiences for her claims that her primary form of direct communication with spirit life is through angelic entities1,2.

Egnew is a singer/songwriter/composer (ASCAP) with many songs to her original catalog in the areas of pop, rock, alternative rock, country, industrial, and folk. She has also composed numerous ambient tracks and film scores4.

She has served as the frontwoman, writer, and producer for several projects including female alternative rock band Pope Jane5 from 1996–present (on hiatus), alternative rock band Junkie Cousin from 2006–20076, and Backseat Bordello6a, an acoustic guitar and vocal duo formed in 2009 with Pope Jane drummer Kristen Coyner. She has portrayed the character of the keyboard-playing Eastern European block "Angel of Metal, Ivana Rock" in the theatrical satire 1980's hard rock band "Sheena Metal's Beer Bong" from 2007–present7. Egnew has also penned country music both on her own and with former Chris Ledoux writer Wayne Lembcke and Merle Haggard co-writer John Scott G7a. Egnew's superior vocal ability, flexible vocal style, prolific production of viable musical product across many genres, and marketing contributions to pop and rock music have been the subject of numerous interviews1.

Danielle Egnew is also a music producer within the pop, rock, and country-crossover genres. She has been noted in magazine articles and interviews as a strong female producer due to creative production choices and musical direction7b, superior technical skills7c, and commitment to budget7d. In 2010, Egnew produced Pope Jane bassist Holly Shawver's rock solo project, The Holly Shawver Project7e, also contributing vocal arrangement, backing vocals, and rhythm guitar.

In 2008, Egnew signed a multi-tiered recording contract with Maurice The Fish Records8, allowing her to create music in several different genres simultaneously. Film, television and stage

Having earned two full-ride college scholarships in stage performance (University of Arizona [Musical Theater] and Eastern Montana College11 [Theater]), Egnew went on to be an actor, film producer and screenwriter. Her original screenplay Thunder Walk was optioned by Los Angeles production entity Light Renegade Entertainment (2003)12. As an actor, Egnew starred as "Peg Franklin" in the Clear Pictures feature film Changing Spots (2008), for which she is also credited as a Producer10.

Egnew appeared as herself onscreen in a Psychic / Medium capacity in Montgomery House: The Perfect Haunting (2009)10,13,14, a feature length paranormal documentary covering the haunted history of the Montgomery House Bed and Breakfast in Kalama, Washington, that was written, produced, and directed by Egnew through her production company Ave Vox Entertainment15. The film contains Egnew's contributed musical score10.

Egnew has made other numerous TV appearances both as an actor and as herself, as well as garnering a classical and contemporary theatrical career from 1987 to present1,10.

While at The University of Arizona, Egnew was one of the first featured female members of the sketch comedy group "Comedy Corner", sharing alumni status with other notables such as Saturday Night Live writer Alex Baze16.

Radio

In February 2010, the weekly paranormal talk radio show Haunted Playground with Sheena Metal and Danielle Egnew26 was launched on LA Talk Radio, along with a companion webseries, produced by Danielle Egnew and co-hosted with talk radio veteran Sheena Metal. The program airs Tuesdays from 3-5pm PST.

Egnew is also a regular re-curring guest on the top-rated talk program The Sheena Metal Experience18 on LA Talk Radio19, a daily two hour talk radio program hosted by stand-up comic, radio personality and celebrity journalist Sheena Metal, Monday-Friday 5-7pm PST. Danielle Egnew has produced and co-hosted the world-syndicated talk-music hybrid The Music Highway with Sheena Metal20, also airing weekly on LA Talk Radio21.

Egnew has produced and anchored her own syndicated talk radio program The High Road (2004–2006)22, focusing on spiritual and sociological topics, and composed the musical themes for both The High Road and The Music Highway with Sheena Metal.

Activism

Egnew is a celebrity advocate for same-sex marriage rights, acting as a celebrity endorser for a number of local and national campaigns including Virginia's VoteNO campaign, providing PSA's and print materials for the endeavor23.

In the past, Egnew has worked on a number of campaigns ranging from political candidates to Washington State's "Right To Die" campaign, supporting the legal upholding of living wills in a court of law, as well as working on the campaign to implement Washington State's Universal Health Care System, which is emulated by Democratic presidential candidates Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama in their individual health care plans1.[Third-party source needed]

Danielle Egnew officially endorsed New York Senator Hillary Clinton in the Democratic primaries for the 2008 Presidential Election24.

Awards and affiliations

Danielle Egnew earned two-full ride college scholarships, one for Musical Theater from The University of Arizona in Tucson, Arizona (1987), and one for Theater from Eastern Montana College in Billings, Montana (1989)1. Egnew attended both educational institutions. Due to the 1994 restructuring in the Montana University System, Eastern Montana College was re-named July 1, 1995, as Montana State University - Billings11.
