Henry Jonsson

Henry Jonsson

Henry John Jonsson (May 12, 1912 – March 9, 2001) was a Swedish long distance runner, who after 1940 was named Henry Kälarne. He was born in Håsjö in Jämtland.

He competed for Sweden in the 1936 Summer Olympics held in Berlin, Germany in the 5000 metres where he won the bronze medal. He also competed at the 1938 European Championships, finishing second behind Taisto Mäki. He died in Stockholm.
