ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium (Andhra Cricket Association-Vishakapatnam District Cricket Association), is a multi-purpose stadium in Visakhapatnam, India.

Ground Profile

It is currently used mostly for cricket matches. The stadium was built in 2003 and has a capacity of 46,000 people. It was given Test status in 2007 and has facilities to host a D/N match. The stadium has hosted 3 ODI matches with the host team - India winning all of these matches and is a confirmed venue for Indian Premier League. It is a picturesque venue standing amidst green hills on the outskirts of Visakhapatnam. The stadium has a two-tier architecture and designed in such a way that view of the match in action is not obstructed whatever may be the seating location. It is also the first Cricket stadium in India to use the ground based LCD displays for advertisements during the Cricket matches. This was introduced during India vs SriLanka ODI match in 2007.
