Proposal 2

Proposal 2 may refer to any of several ballot initiatives in different states. In states where proposal numbers are reset each year, Proposal 2 may refer to a new initiative unrelated to previous Proposals 2.

* In Michigan,
** in 2006, Proposal 2 was the deceptively-named Michigan Civil Rights Initiative.
** in 2008, Proposal 2 is a ballot initiative to allow stem cell research on embryos that would otherwise be discarded. Opponents suggest this will raise taxes and open the door to human cloning.
