Tribune Media Services

Tribune Media Services (TMS) is a syndication company owned by the Tribune Company.

The company has two divisions, "News and Features" and "Entertainment Products". For both print and web syndication, TMS distributes media products in a variety of languages, such as news, comic strips, television listings and other information services to publications across the United States, Canada and other countries. The entertainment division of the company owns and provides content for the TV/movie news website Zap2It.com.

TMS also gathers and provides television listings, utilized by many newspapers throughout the United States, and it also provides guide information to electronic programming guides such as TiVO, DirecTV, and TV Guide's EPG services.

The company, headquartered in Chicago, has offices in various American cities (Milwaukee, Wisconsin; Queensbury, New York; Arlington, Texas; Santa Monica, California), the United Kingdom, The Netherlands and Hong Kong.

Upon the acquisition of Times Mirror in 2000, the Los Angeles Times Syndicate was merged into Tribune Media Services.
