Charleston Academy (Gaelic:Àrd Sgoil Bhaile Theàrlaich) was established in 1978[1] and is located in the Kinmylies area of Inverness, Scotland. The school has an average pupil population of 850. The catchment area includes Kinmylies, Muirtown, Leachkin and Clachnaharry in the west of Inverness, as well as the villages of Beauly, Kirkhill, Kiltarlity, Struy, Abriachan and Dochgarroch.

Charleston Academy opened with a staff of 15 and 150 students in August 1978, with Ronald Lyall as the first rector.[1]
