Transport in Andorra

This article concerns Transport in Andorra. Andorra is a country in Europe, whose transport infrastructure is largely road-based.

There are no railways in Andorra, although the government is considering a new public transport system, "Metro Aeri". This would be an elevated cable metro system that would glide above the city's river.

Andorra has a network of roads, with a total length of 269km, of which 198km are paved, leaving 71km of unpaved road. The main road to the north (France) goes through the Envalira pass, which is 2,409 m high but nevertheless open all year round as it has a tunnel as well.

In terms of air and sea travel, there are no ports, harbours or airports in Andorra.

Public Transit

Andorra has frequent bus service to local locations and other locations in both France and Spain.
