In less than 100 years Cruzeiro E.C. is one of the clubs with the best structures in Brazil, structures for club partners, as much as for athletes. For they make use of two training centers (Toca da Raposa I, for youth squad and development, and the Toca da Raposa II for professional player development). Cruzeiro also has three other club structures, an administrative head quarters (Sede Administrativa) and two sporting complexes, (Sede Urbana and Sede Campestre).

Toca da Raposa I

Formed under Felicio Brandi was a center of training for Cruzeiro’s professional team until 2002. Today it is used exclusively for the Cruzeiro’s youth squads. Built on a 53 ft² land area. The complex offers athletes as will as the technical commission of the youth categories of Cruzeiro four training fields, dressing room, training room and a medical department. A pavilion of 100x25 meters shelters the hotel which has 18 apartments, a cinema, game room and administrative offices. The Toca received the Brazil three times. Twice it was in preparation for the 1982, 1986 World Cups and also in 1983 Seleção Brasileira de Novos which won the Pan-America Indianapolis that year. With the inauguration of the Toca da Raposa II in 2002, the Toca do Raposa I became strictly used for youth development only. It is also used though for international exchange of athletes in formation, mostly Japan and Korea. Besides being a sporting facility, Cruzeiro also helps provide education to the athletes there from the Escola Alternativa com ensino Fundamental e Médio, with specific hours for the 200 athletes/students.

Toca da Raposa II

Inaugurated in 2002 it is used exclusively for Cruzeiro’s main squad’s training, and is highly considered one of the best training centers in Latin America. Occupying a total land area of 4,200 m² on an area of 86,000 m², it is located in Bairro Trevo, in the region of Pampulha, Belo Horizonte. The project was started in 1997 under chairman Zezé Perrella. The inauguration occurred on March 9, 2002 with the presence of then Minister of Education, Culture and Sports Carlos Melles and of the Brazil‘s then head coach Luis Felipe Scolari, (who has also managed Cruzeiro), and was preparing for the 2002 FIFA World Cup. It consists of four training fields, all of which contain official measurements, and two of which have the same dimensions as Mineirão Stadium. The athletes as well as the technical commission and directors have at their disposal a 17 apartment hotel, refectory, game room, cinemas and administrative offices. The Toca II also possesses a medical center, training center with computerized devices, complete department of physiotherapy, covered thermal swimming pool, saunas, and dressings rooms. It has turned itself into a tourist attraction for visitors in Belo Horizonte as well as Cruzeiro’s fans.

ede Administrativa

Inaugurated on March 5, 2003 the building occupies over 4,300 m². The building consists of eight floors, that shelters all administrative sectors of the club. Created be architect Fernando Oliveira Graça the building is coated with illuminated blue glass, adjusting to a tower of coated vertical circulation in white porcelain. The administrative headquarter for Cruzeiro displays its official colors. The building offers a closed garage for 54 vehicles and a hall for services of attending official club partners. From the fourth to sixth floor are the following functions: Public relations, marketing, technology, supervisions, administrative management, department of staff, accounting, financier, purchases and collecting functions. On the seventh floor is the cabinets of the president, vice-presidents, conference room, and the presidency of advice presidential room. On the eighth floor, is the conference room of the Deliberative body and area of personal treatment.

ede Campestre

Occupies a total area of 60,000 ft², in the Pampulha neighborhood. The building was complete in the late 70’s. Today the building is a sporting complex with seven pools, six futebol de salão and basketball courts, an associated football field with synthetic grass, three volleyball courts, 14 peteca courts, two football field with smaller dimensions, also with synthetic grass, a gymnasium, bocha and bowling alley’s, game room, sauna, bar, restaurants, party room and parking area. Associates are still counting on a recovery center.

ede Urbana

Sede Urbana is a leisure area, located at Parque Esportivo Barro Preto. It was inaugurated in 1985 during the Benito Masci administration. It is built on a historical landmark, on the Juscelino Kubitschek Stadium where Cruzeiro conquered some of his first titles. Because of the privileged location the number of associates has increased throughout the years. Today the structure has three semi-Olympic pools, two of which are heated, three infant pools, four poliesportivas courts, seven peteca courts, a restaurant and a covered gymnasium. Under the charge of Alvimar de Oliveira Costa, which began in 2003, the complex underwent a renovation to provide greater comfort to its usual visitors.
