Gökçekaya Dam is convert|43|km|mi|0|abbr=on north of Alpu town convert|45|km|mi|0|abbr=on east of province of Eskişehir in central Turkey and located convert|60|km|mi|0|abbr=on downstream of Sarıyar Dam on the Sakarya River which runs into the Black Sea.

There is a hydroelectric power plant, established in 1972, at the dam, with a power output of 278 MW (three facilities at circa 100 MW each), generating an average 562 GWh of hydroelectricity annually.
