Park West, Dublin

Park West, Dublin

Park West is the name of a large business park in Dublin, Ireland. Located just inside the M50 motorway in west Dublin, the development comprises several million square metres of office and retail space, including a Days Inn hotel and a private day hospital, and three apartment complexes.

Park West is home to Europe's tallest mobile sculpture, "Wave" by Angela Conner. It is a 129 feet tall sculpture made of polystyrene covered with layers of carbon resin. It is fixed into a 25 foot pit filed with 9.5 tonnes of lead. [Sunday Times Magazine - A Life In the Day; 5th August 2007]

Park West is in the administration of Dublin City Council. It is accessible by road (primarily the (New) Nangor Road, as well as Killeen Road and Cloverhill), Dublin Bus and Irish Rail at the "Cherry Orchard & Parkwest" Station. A proposed new railway station will be adjacent to the residential development. At a moderate distance to the south is the Kylemore stop on the Luas red line.

Park West is located in An Post Dublin postal districts Dublin 10 and Dublin 12, chiefly the latter.
