Khaliji (music)

"Khaliji" is the style of music native to the Arab states of the Persian Gulf (Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE). It is characterized by heavy use of the traditional "tabl" drum and music of the oud.
