Asa Lyon (December 31, 1763 - April 4, 1841) was a United States Representative from Vermont. He was born in Pomfret, Connecticut. He attended the common schools and was graduated from Dartmouth College in 1790. He was a divinity student with the Rev. Charles Backus at Somers, Connecticut and was ordained the pastor of the Congregational Church in Sunderland, Massachusetts in 1792. He moved to South Hero, Vermont in 1794 where he studied law.
Lyon was a member of the Vermont House of Representatives, and was a member of the Vermont Executive Council in 1808. He served a pastor of South Hero 1802-1840, and chief judge of Grand Isle County Courts 1805-1809, 1813, and 1814. He was elected as a Federalist to the Fourteenth Congress (March 4, 1815 - March 3, 1817). He died in South Hero in 1841 and was buried in Grand Isle Cemetery, Grand Isle, Vermont.
