Wesley Chapel High School is a Pasco County, Florida Secondary School [ [http://wch.pasco.k12.fl.us/district.htm wch.pasco.k12.fl.us/district.htm] ] located in Wesley Chapel, Florida [ [http://wch.pasco.k12.fl.us/ wch.pasco.k12.fl.us] ] . It is one of the largest schools in the rapidly growing Pasco County School District. It is next to Wesley Chapel Elementary School and Thomas E. Weightman Middle School, which are both feeder schools for Wesley Chapel High School. The school opened its doors in the 1999-2000 school year to students in grades 9-11. Now, this school is a well known school with over 1500 students. Wesley Chapel High School's main rival is Wiregrass Ranch High School. In the 2006-2007 school year, Wiregrass Ranch High School opened to stop the over popualtion in Wesley Chapel High School. This took many students from WCHS and made it less crowded. Steve Mumaw is the athletic director at the school and is also a computer class teacher.
