Muika, Niigata

Muikamachi (六日町 Muika-machi?) was a town located in Minami-Uonuma District, Niigata, Japan.

As of 2003, the town had an estimated population of 28,687 and a density of 108.75 persons per km². The total area was 263.79 km².

On November 1, 2004 Muikamachi was merged with the town of Yamato, also from Minami-Uonuma District, to form the new city of Minami-Uonuma.
