"Idols" is the West African version of the British television hit show "Pop Idol". It is a talent contest to find performer and airs on M-Net during the 2007 television season. Like the Pan-Arab entry to the series, the show will incorporate countries throughout the West African region. The programme is based in Nigeria. Despite the title, auditions only took place in the anglophone cities of Lagos, Abuja, Accra and Calabar.

The show is presented in English, hosted by Mike Majic. The three judges are: Nigerian Dede Mabiaku, Ghanaian Abrewa Nana and American Dan Foster.
