Shire of Broadsound is a Local Government Area in the Capricornia region of Queensland, Australia.

The main towns in the Shire are St Lawrence, Dysart, Middlemount and Carmila with smaller townships such as Clairview, Ilbilbie and Greenhill.

Broadsound Shire changed its name to Isaacs Regional Council with recent 2008 State Government (Qld) Shire Council Boundary changes.
