Greenwich Line

Greenwich Line

The Greenwich Line is a short railway line in South London that follows the route of the London and Greenwich Railway, which was the first railway line in London.

The line follows the main South Eastern Main Line from London Bridge, past the Spa Road Junction to where it separates. The line has stops at Deptford, Greenwich, Maze Hill and Westcombe Park, before it connects with the North Kent Line at Charlton.

The line was electrified with the other SECR local routes to Dartford on 6th June 1926 by Southern Railway.
