* Tabanan: is a kingdom in central Bali, built by "Shri Arya Kenceng" the chief of the Majapahit Army who attacked the "Bali Kuna" kingdom in the 14th century. Then for 21 generation his descendant ruled Tabanan, Badung and Kerambitan. Even though Majapahit then put Dalem Klungkung as the king of Bali, Tabanan was the only state of Bali which was independent and respected by the Dalem. In 1906 Dutch colonialised Tabanan, and the last king of Tabanan "I Gusti Ngurah Rai Perang" died with his crown prince "I Gusti Ngurah Gede Pegeg" and left the crown princesses "Sagung Ayu Putu" (who moved to Puri Anom Tabanan) & Sagung Ayu Oka (who married with a Dutch clerk or controleur). Then the colonial government chose I Gusti Ngurah Ketut, from Puri Mecutan Tabanan, as a zelfbestuurder, titled Cokorda Ngurah Ketut, and now claimed as Puri Agung Tabanan.
