Sergei Baltacha (born July 28, 1979 [ [http://www.scottishleague.net/archive/archive145.htm Scottish League Sfaqs ] ] in Kiev) is a Scottish-Ukrainian footballer who currently plays for Petershill F.C..

Career

He first played football in the Dynamo Kiev academy [ [http://ukraine-today.com/recreation/football/baltacha.shtml Untitled Document ] ] , but began his professional career in Scotland, at St. Mirren, where he gained 3 caps for the Scotland U-21 side. Family

Baltacha comes from a very athletic family -- his father, Sergei, played football for the Soviet Union, his mother, Olga, was a pentathlete and his sister, Elena, plays tennis.
