Bradwell is a village in the Derbyshire Peak District of England. It lies south of the main body of the Hope Valley, but is usually included among its settlements.

A few Roman remains have been found in the village, associated with the nearby Navio [ [http://www.roman-britain.org/places/navio.htm|Navio - romanbritain.org website] ] fort at Brough-on-Noe, including a Roman bath and the Grey Ditch [ [http://www.magic.gov.uk/rsm/29813.pdf|Magic.gov.uk - Grey ditch earthwork] ] earthwork. The village grew again in the eighteenth century around lead mining.

The village is known for its ice cream-making industry, and for the Bagshaw Cavern [ [http://www.cressbrook.co.uk/scripts/visits/visitshow.php?visit=Bagshaw%20Cavern|Bagshaw Cavern - Cressbrook Multimedia website] ] show cave. Hazelbadge Hall [ [http://www.genuki.org.uk/big/eng/DBY/Tilley/VolumeI/HazlebadgeHall.html|UK & Ireland Genealogy Website] ] lies immediately south of Bradwell.
