Baltray

Baltray

Baltray is a village in County Louth, Ireland, located on the northern shore of the River Boyne estuary.

The village has developed since the latter half of the twentieth century as a dormitory village serving Drogheda Town, which is located inland, to the west of Baltray. It has a general store and a public house.

Baltray is well known for the Golf Links and the "Baltray standing stones"megaliths [http://www.megalithicireland.com/Baltray.htm] .
