Bytham Castle

Bytham Castle

Bytham Castle was a castle in the village of Castle Bytham in Lincolnshire (gbmapping|SK992186.)

The castle is thought to be of early Norman origin, but little is known of its history. The earthworks, situated on a hill above the village, are very visible but nothing of the stonework is above ground.
