Strathgordon is a town in Tasmania, Australia. The town is the most south westerly road connected locality in the south west of Tasmania.

It is remote by Tasmanian standards, with only one road leading back convert|60|km|mi|0|lk=on to New Norfolk, near Hobart.

The nearest basic services are convert|60|km|mi|0|lk=on kilometres away on a winding road in Maydena.

The town was created due to the damming of Lake Pedder and Lake Gordon. It was the 'company' town for the hydro-electric projects of Hydro Tasmania).

Its location makes it a popular tourist destination, especially for visitors wishing to visit the Southwest National Park.
