Harpeth Hall School is a private school for girls grades 5-12 in Nashville, Tennessee.

About

Harpeth Hall was founded in 1951 as the replacement to Ward-Belmont College south of downtown Nashville. It was built as a non-residential (day) school in the Green Hills neighborhood, an affluent residential area southwest of downtown Nashville. It is dedicated to academic excellence in a single-gender environment. The graduates of Harpeth Hall matriculate to many of the best colleges and universities in the world.Fact|date=August 2008

It is often regarded as a sister institution to Montgomery Bell Academy. The two institutions do co-operate in certain areas such as dramatic presentations, and Harpeth Hall supplies some of MBA's cheerleaders. They occasionally also are scheduled together for basketball games.

The school is fully accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. Harpeth Hall is also a member of the National Association of Independent Schools, the Tennessee Association of Independent Schools, and the National Coalition of Girls' Schools.

To date, Harpeth Hall has won the following:

*The TSSAA Girls' Volleyball State Championship (2001, 2005)
*The TSSAA Girls' Cross Country State Championship (1980, 1981, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004)
*The TSSAA Girls' Track & Field State Championship (1980, 1981, 1991, 1992, 1994, 1995, 1996, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004)
*The Tennessee Girls' Lacrosse State Championship (2004, 2005, 2006, 2008)*
*The TSSAA Girls' Swimming State Championship (2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007)

* Lacrosse is not a TSSAA-sponsored sport.

Academics

Harpeth Hall boasts a 100% college matriculation rate, offers 21 Advanced Placement and Honors courses, and a 9:1 average teacher-student ratio.
