The Glades is a shopping centre part-owned by Capital Shopping Centres. It is located in Bromley, South-East London. It has a total of 108 stores trading from a combined floorspace of 421,000 sq ft. It is the home of a large Waterstones book store (formally Ottakar's).

The Glades also houses a large Zavvi, the logo can be seen upon the main entrance. The centre is also home to GAME, one of two in the town centre, Zara, H&M, Debenhams, M&S, Orange, Gamleys and many more.

The centre was home to one of the first UNIQLO outlets in the UK but this was closed after a rationalisation of the chain following poor initial trading in the country. The Glades has a gift voucher that can be used in most of the stores around the centre.

Development

Building work has begun (Autumn 2006) on a £25 million extension next to the main entrance which will provide additional retail units, car parking spaces and customer facilities.
