Sherman Brothers ' score for "Mary Poppins". The song (along with many others) was cut from the motion picture but was used, nineteen years after "Poppins" premiered, in "Welcome to Pooh Corner" in 1983.ong Placement
New episodes played five times a week from 1983-1987. The show continued to air in reruns until 1995. The Sherman Brothers wrote five songs, one for each of the major characters to sing, repeatedly each week.
