Bukhara-Tashkent-Bishkek-Almaty pipeline is the main source of gas supply for Kyrgyzstan and southern part of Kazakhstan. The Kazakhstan section of pipeline is operated by KazTransGas, a wholly-owned subsidiary of KazMunayGas. It's could be possible that the pipeline will be connected with the planned Central Asia-China gas pipeline.cite journal | journal=The CEPMLP Internet Journal | author = Mehmet Ögütçü |url=http://www.dundee.ac.uk/cepmlp/journal/html/Vol17/Vol17_8.pdf | title= Kazakhstan's expanding cross-border gas links.
