Eulalia! is the nineteenth book in the Redwall novel series by author Brian Jacques and illustrated by David Elliot. "Eulalia" ( [http://redwall.wikia.com/wiki/Eulalia "Victory"] ) is also the war cry used by the Salamandastron fighting Hares and Badgers.

The novel was going to be released in 2006 (to continue the pattern that a new Redwall book is released every year), but was delayed. It was released on October 4, 2007 in the US and UK. Hardback and paperback editions may be released at the same time. Brian Jacques attended a book signing for Eulalia in Newark, Delaware's Borders on Sunday, October 14 and again in Minneapolis, Minnesota's Wild Rumpus on October 27th.

Summary

The badger, Gorath and his grandparents were living a hard but peaceful life in the Northen Isles until one day, the golden-furred pirate fox Captain Vizka Longtooth and his crew arrived at their door. The vermins destroyed Gorath's home, murdered his kinbeasts, took him captive aboard their ship, the "Bludgullet". His brow is forever scarred by Vizka's cruel mace-and-chain, which had knocked him out. Hearing that his kinbeasts were murdered, Gorath silently promises to avenge their deaths and vows revenge on the pirates. Meanwhile, a young haremaid named "Mad Maudie" (the Hon.) Mugsberry Thropple of Salamandastron is sent by Lord Asheye to search for a badger with the flame on his brow to succeed the aging Badger Lord. She teams up with the GUOSIM (Guerilla Union of Shrews in Mossflower). With Gruntan Kurdly and his crew of savage Brownrats on their tail, she must be quick, clever, and resourceful.

At Redwall, a young hedgehog named Orkwil Prink is caught stealing again. Wise Abbot Daucus banishes him from the Abbey for one season, where he gets captured by the "Bludgullet" 's crew. He unlocks Gorath's chains, being an expert thief, and they escape. The two journey back to Redwall to save it from Vizka Longtooth and the Sea Raiders and Gruntan Kurdly's Brownrats.
