Academics

A magnet school for math, science, and technology, Carnage has a full academic curriculum including programs in foreign language and fine arts. It is also the only middle school in Wake County with a greenhouse. Partners in Flight

This project in December 2003 brought North Carolina and Ohio students and educators together to learn of, and celebrate, their Wright brothers' connection. As part of this project, the most outstanding Mars Space Suit design was submitted by a team from Carnage. NASA’s National Space Grant Program

A senior aerospace engineering design class at the University of North Carolina formed a successful collaboration with 100 sixth-grade science students at Carnage. Students designed and tested prototypes of a wind-driven Mars rover for NASA that were displayed at the Festival of Flight in Fayetteville. Incidents
